King Kong is my co-favorite movie of all time, along with Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars. Some of my students have said that this film is 'old' and 'silly' and in response I want to flunk them.

This is the last post of the day. The novelty's worn off.

crummy drawing of the day: The Incredibles

I'm trying to figure out how to post stuff, so here's an oversized image of a 'meh' drawing. It's from the Incredibles, this image is Pixar's property, so don't screengrab this and get me in trouble. It's the scene where- well, you know.

crummy drawing of the week: MIB

I spent six months in 1995 in the Amblin' compound at Universal Studios working on the film that came to be known as Men In Black. It was one of the coolest jobs I've ever had, and this mediocre excursion into creature design was one of the results. The format's kinda wonky, and I'm too lazy to resize it.

My first post

Welcome to my stupid blog.

Under the category of 'who cares?', this is a page from a short story entitled 'the body' I did for Dark Horse Presents a few months ago.

The carnivores are Acrocanthrosaurs, and they're feeding on a Tenontosaurus.
