Yep, it's another awful Mummy 3 drawing :)

Describing the pulley system for the tomb.

Not the greatest movie in the world but I had a lot of fun.

Trailers for movies you should see: The Untouchables (1987)

Based on the black and white TV series, this is a really fun action film starring Sean Connery, Kevin Costner and Robert DeNiro as gangster Al Capone. Connery is fantastic in a supporting role, where he won an Oscar for his performance. Watch for a very young Andy Garcia as a kid with a great shot.

Favorite '80's videos: Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins

I absolutely HATE to admit this to all five of you, but I like this song.

Please don't tell anyone.

Boooooooooooooooo!

Get this guy outta here. He stands for everything I can't stand.

The greatest spaceship EVER

I don't wanna get any Enterprise responses. This ship blew up two Death Stars. C'mon.

Vince Carter Buzzer-beater

Ya gotta guard the shooter, man!

NBA PLAYOFF DUNKATHON

Here's 15 minutes of dunks, to celebrate the start of the NBA playoffs. If you sit through all of them, you are an NBA junkie, yep.

I (heart) Universal Monsters!

This may come as a total shock to all five of you, but I grew up BEFORE Star Wars, and I adored the Universal Monster movies, and watch them religiously to this day.

The last image is from Frankenstein meets the Wolfman, which is my favorite because there's TWO monsters in this baby!

"I bid you-welcome."

More minions

Okay, based on the rousing success of last week's Minions video, here's some more. Hihihi!

Time Travel Science Documentary

Some pretty interesting stuff, especially how a rocket  trip with an atomic clock on board will leave the passenger BEHIND in time.

Cool test

If you don't know who these guys are, got off my blog.

Hieroglyph issue 2 page 14

Did these a decade before the Mummy 3 made me discover Adalaj :)

Adalaj

Sometimes circumstances that are at the beginning not seen as a benefit become a blessing.

On the Mummy 3 I was given this reference, from a place in India called Adalaj, and I used it to design
the Mummy's tomb, which is cool, but I also fell in love with the architecture, the mood and the ambiance along the way, and when I'm older I'd love to go there.

I enjoy other cultures, other languages, other customs. These images are interesting, beautiful, colorful and fascinating to me, and I would never have discovered Adalaj without being on the Mummy 3, lol :)

I think this is Niobe's ship's POV looking at the Nebuchadnezzar.

I dunno:)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service fight

One of my favorite Bond films, this is a pretty cool fight. Not for kids.

Best of the Minions

I've never seen these movies...but these little guys are funny!

"That Nurhaci's a real small guy."

Don't upset me by not knowing which Indy movie this is from.

French Connection Car Chase

Okay, the French Connection, the gritty cop film from 1970 that won the Best Picture Oscar, is one of my favorite movies of all time and the car chase in this baby is just ridiculously cool, so sit down, strap in and shut up and watch one of the greatest car chases ever in a film.

Here's Director William Freidkin talking about how they shot this amazing sequence. After this film, He made another film called the Exorcist. You may have heard of that one as well.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine storyboard

From the lame movie of the same name.

Mummy Reader

From the cover of my first novel,  Sam Specter and the Book of Spells.

10 minutes of the Truffle Shuffle

If you watch all ten minutes of this video there's something wrong with you :)

Octopi Mech (in color)

Here's the final version, in color.

I might make a print of it.

Who cares?

"NO MORE PARACHUTES!"

If this image is a mystery for you, you need to find another blog.

Zombie!

I forget why I did this drawing, but here it is.

Thanks!

..to all or any of you that participated in the Stan Sakai bidding for my stupid Age of Reptiles cover. I'm really happy that the money went to a good cause.

Thanks again,

R

Cats...are weird. The crows are acting like their nest is nearby.

Hieroglyph pyramid

Have I posted this already? Either way, it's still a mediocre drawing with some vaguely interesting details.

Bleh!
