My stupid Godzilla: Even better scans of lame drawings
For all five of you out there that care, here's even better scans of my lame, crummy drawings.
As an added bonus for somehow being interested in the mediocrity that is my art, below is a gaudy, silly painting I did to show director Jan Debont to get the gig of designing Godzilla which was one of the best experiences of my otherwise mediocre artistic career.
Boy, that painting sucks! And that Godzilla...what was I thinking??????
I like the sketches above okay, though.
No go do something far more worthwhile than looking at my horrible artwork on an autumn afternoon.

Fernando Valenzuela
I've been a Dodger fan all my life, and Fernando's my favorite Dodger of all time. Here he is throwing down in 1981, the year they won it all...
I grew up loving to look at old photos from World Series from the Thirties and Forties, and I can't believe I'm looking at an old black and white photo of games that happened when I was a kid.

My Gamera
Here's a version of Gamera done for G-Fan Magazine about a decade ago. Kudos to Brant Elliot for making this happen.
...and here's the line art. I don't think I colored this one, I think Brant arranged that, so I can't take credit for something I didn't do, but the dang turtle is mine, lol.

Haunted Mansion holiday Nightmare Before Christmas ride
All five of you know how much I love the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland, and every year the Imagineers dress up the ride with a Nightmare before Christmas motif, and here it is.
Wal-e: Inside the Mothership
So, looking at the previous drawing, inside one of the 'rings' of the ship would be a view like this. I don't know why signage means something to me, but I grew up looking at large plastic cows, boys holding up hamburgers and lumberjacks carrying tires and other silly corporate symbols. I also wanted to try and create a different type of architecture, so I furthered the plantlife motif here.
I'm not even sure if I ever colored this drawing either.
