Ancient Aliens debunked!
I love, love, love ancient astronaut theories/conspiracies, yet I also feel like it insults those cultures throughout the world that built those amazing structures. THis guy goes through and methodically debunks all of them!
Three HOURS long:)
Interesting stuff.

JP3- Spinosaur behavior gags
I don't know how much of my stuff was used, but I thought this would be fun for it to do as it eats the ship's pilot.

Sakai/Meltdown charity signing pics
Group pic after the fact.
Who's that knucklehead in the front with the blue blazer and stupid grin?
Same thing, different angle.
Myself with Robert Stanley, nice man and great artist. the kid in the foreground has already figured out that here are cooler artists there than myself and is about to move on.
Me and Jeff Keane, who does that great and famous Family Circus newspaper strip. I look like I'm asleep, drunk or on another planet. Why can't I take a good pic?
Me thinking it's time for dinner.
Another angle of the group pic. I'm thinking tacos.
A good time was had by all for a great guy, Stan Sakai, right next to me.
Thanks to CAPS for the pics, thanks to everyone for coming!

Robin Williams
…was one of my favorite comedians. He passed away yesterday, and I'm sad because the guy just did what I wish I could do for a living, which is to make people happy.
Some videos:
The Mork and Mindy theme. I was just a kid when this came out.
Never had a friend like me. How ironic now. Wow.
Who knew a kid like me would grow up to work at Disney Feature Animation, where Williams would make the Genie so famous.
Williams' final, hysterical interview on Letterman. Some of this is not for kids.

Creature From the Delgado Lagoon
I was stuck as to what to do for the Creature of the Black Lagoon show that just opened at Creature Features, so I just decided to do a quick re-design and throw that up there (and here)
The classic is still the coolest, and one of my favorite monsters ever.

Age of Reptiles news- New short story to be published this October!
I've just been informed that my new Age of Reptiles short story will be published in Dark Horse Presents #3 on October 15th this year.
The short story is only eight pages long, but full of prehistoric fun:) I think Dark Horse will put up a link so you can order the issue from them directly.
Here's the cover (not done by me):

Sakai book signing event pics part 2
Or: Why can't I take a good picture part 2:
Not bad, so far so good.
See what I mean?
Good lord.
The nice man on the right is Mike Hunkel, the nice man on the left is Steve Gordon.
The idiot in the middle is Yours Truly.
Thanks to CAPS for the pics.

Stan Sakai Event pics
Spent a few hours at the Stan Sakai Project book signing event today and while it was satisfying to contribute to a great cause, I don't know if it's possible for me to take a decent photo.
I was drawing a really lousy Mosasaur for a nice man whose artistic taste I question named Michael Foertsch, who took this picture. Could I look any worse?
Yes.
Yes, I can.
Thank goodness only five people follow this blog.
I'm inking page 11 of issue 4 of Ancient Egyptians here, FYI.
