Just a few different videos today. Here's a the famous monologue from The Great Dictator. This might of been Chaplin's first talkie, a film with sound. My son Ricky loves this speech!

And lastly, the Immigrant, from 1917. It's 20 minutes long. Watch this instead of the beginning of the Bulls/Nets game seven.

Chaplinfest Day 4- The Kid (1921)

One of his best. If you watch this and are not moved, you're on the wrong blog. The kid is played by Jackie Cooper, who would go on to play Perry White in the 1978 Superman film.
